We are SCC – Specialist Computer Centres – Europe’s leading provider of IT services and solutions. An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Microsoft Business Applications Developer to join an exciting and challenging transformation programme.
This role is a great opportunity for a Business Applications Developer. SCC is at the start of a major transformation programme expected to span four years which will involve the replacement of several applications with D365 F&O. Power Platform will be used heavily for custom Line of Business applications to help facilitate the migration to the cloud. SCC is a dynamic company and it is expected that the D365 and Power Platform solution will continue to develop post the initial implementation programme.
We are looking for a Business Applications Developer who will play a pivotal role in building in-house Line of Business applications utilising the Power Platform. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with Microsoft azure services and low code platform like Power Platform, some experience of D365 F&O would also be an advantage.
Successful candidate will work within the SCC IT Development team to design, develop and maintain for IT projects within the SCC Group. They will also perform any other duties which may be allocated to them due to developing technologies and business requirements.

Main Duties of Job:
- Refactoring and developing legacy apps into cloud platform with Power Platform.
- Work closely within the architecture team, following agile methodology for software development process, using Azure DevOps tool to apply DevOps process.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Liaising with the business and project team to understand and refine requirements
- Attend daily stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint planning sessions
- Estimate work being considered for future sprints.
- Taking responsibility for projects/tasks and reporting of progress to line management.

Required 

- Must have 02+ years of experience in software development and 01+ years of experience in using Microsoft Azure.
- Has experience with workflow process configuration, automation process for approvals.
- Has good programming background using JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, CSS, .NETCore, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful web services, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SSRS and Azure data analytics.
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing. Experience in the use of Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Git.

- Familiar with Agile methodology and Scrum framework for software development process.
- Willing to learn new technologies, proactive researching and self-studying to get understanding new domain knowledge.
- Ability work well in individual as well as in a team across multiple locations.
- Good English communication both in verbal and writing.

Advantageous
- Experience with Power platform such as Model Driven App, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Ability to document business process and turn into a Power Automate flow.
- Has Power Platform Developer Associate certificate or more.
- Experience in developing web and mobile applications with low-code development platforms.
- An understanding of security concepts including access control and data security.
- Familiar with RBAC (Role Based Access Control).
