Overview of job
- Analysis of biological data, mainly single-cell next-generation sequencing data and/or proteomics data
- Build data analysis pipelines
- Develop machine learning and deep learning models for classification or prognosis
- Research and develop algorithms for biological data analysis
- Participate in big data analysis projects for data mining, model building, and algorithm development
- Participate in error handling and improve the data analysis process
Job Requirement
- Either have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and related disciplines, or have a Bachelor’s degree in equivalent disciplines
- Knowledge of probability statistics and machine learning, priority to the interest of processing biological data and solving questions in the healthcare research
- Proficient in Linux/Unix and command line
- Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, and BASH
- Ability to explore new tools and applications in various programming languages
- Good English reading skills, especially reading materials in English
- Have the ability to do teamwork, and be open for communication
- Work independently and self-study
- Work under high pressure
- Desire to build positive values for the community
