Overview of job
What You'll Do
As a DevOps Engineer at Enlab, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our clients' development and operations processes. The position requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical background, a deep understanding of software development life cycles, and expertise in implementing DevOps practices. The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing delivery pipelines, automating workflows, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our clients' systems.
- Building and implementing new development AWS tools and infrastructure
- Working on ways to automate, maintain and improve existing AWS infrastructure
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Solve Architecture and Infrastructure problems using development skills to build the right solution for internal stakeholders
- Plan, design, develop, test, maintain, deploy CI/CD Pipelines and onboard developers to use those pipelines
- Support, and answer support tickets in a timely and expedient manner
- Implement workflows, build interfaces and integrations, educate co-workers and assist with other development priorities as required
- Help to create formal technical/system documentation adhering to standards and conventions as needed by team members and end-users
- Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical people as well as understand requirements given by clients and business consultants.
Job Requirement
What You Come with
- Degree holder in computer science or related fields
- At least 2 year experience as a DevOps engineer
- Knowledge of AWS services and experience in using ECR, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, Secrete Manager, Lambda, Cloudwatch, Route 53, EC2, RDS, S3.
- Experience in Gitlab, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, ArgoCD
- Experience using GitHub Actions and Deployment Scripts
- Experience working with Infrastructure-as-code environment tools such as Terraform.
- Experience in setting up Deployment Pipelines for Full-stack Applications and Distributed Systems
- Experience in making backup strategies for SQL, NoSQL DBs, Serverless components, and Servers
- Experience in using JSON, YAML, Bash, Zsh, Power-shell
- Experience with Linux OS, Windows OS
- Good Understanding of Microservice System Architectures
- Eager to learn new concepts and to contribute to the Globally Deployed Distributed System
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in learning and understanding new technologies
- Well-organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter and good team player
- Ability to communicate in English
