Overview of job

We are seeking dynamic and experienced QA Engineers. The position will play an important role in assuring quality of OPSWAT Cybersecurity technologies and products at the highest level. As a member of the team, you will be involved in every stage of the software development life cycle. 

What You Will be Doing:

• Be responsible for mainly manual test.
• Analyze/review product requirements.
• Write/review detailed test cases and perform testing based on requirements.
• Perform different types of testing
• Utilize and improve the existing test framework to implement automated tests.
• Handle support escalation such as creating reproducible bug reports or help troubleshoot.
• Report/manage defects.

• BS Degrees in Computer Science, Technology or related.
• Software testing with a good QA mindset preferred.
• Familiar with working in Agile team Kanban/ScrumBan.
• Have experiences in Web Testing and Web Development
• Able to propose  standards, processes for test cases, QA management,
• Able to basic monitor QA progress, define test plans and reports
• Able to identify non-functional test cases including but not limited to Usability, Performance, and Security to prevent these types of issues happening in customer environment.
• Able to monitor internal / customer bug trends and perform root cause analysis if needed to prevent bugs escaped to customers
• Identifies risks that might impact on team release or product and communicate to mitigate the risks
• Contributes to automation framework, maintenance, and enhancement automation for better maintainability
• Have a good knowledge on different Operating Systems (Linux, Windows, macOS, Ubuntu) and Browsers.
• Good at reading and writing in English communication.

It Would Be Nice If You Have

• Experience or knowledge in automated test with Playwright.
• Familiar with JIRA, TeamCity, Git.
• A plus if able to be writing automation using any scripting languages (bash shell, powershell, python, ...), or any programming languages such as Javascript/Typescript or Golang
• Cyber security domain experience, including file security, device security, network security etc...
• Have knowledge about networking, hardware testing.
