Overview of job
- Test Strategy: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the Recurve platform.
- Test Execution: Thoroughly execute test cases, analyze results, and accurately document and track defects through resolution.
- Automation: Design and implement automated tests using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks, optimize platform performance, and ensure scalability.
- Security Testing: Collaborate with security teams to perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to protect against potential threats.
- Data Integrity: Develop and maintain processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within the platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and provide timely feedback.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance quality control processes, methodologies, and tools to adapt to evolving requirements.
Job Requirement
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in quality control or software testing roles, preferably with data platforms or enterprise software.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box testing).
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques.
- Familiarity with Python and pytest
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-Direction: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Exposure to generative AI technologies or machine learning concepts.
