Overview of job

As a Senior FullStack Developer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Collaborate with finance and actuarial teams to understand business problems and build new cloud-based architecture and solutions.
• Design and develop scalable and efficient web applications to ensure functionality and accuracy.
• Implement backend services on the AWS platform and integrate with different storage solutions.
• Develop Proof-of-Concept prototypes to demonstrate new business ideas.
• Perform performance tuning and cost optimization on frontend and backend solutions.
• Work closely with Group Enterprise Architecture, Group Cloud, and business teams to develop full stack applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand problems, requirements, and feedback, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.

• At least 4+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications, preferably in the finance and insurance industry.
• Hands-on experience in full stack development on AWS, preferably with AWS native services.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and third-party libraries such as React.js and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages including Node.js, Express.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBMS technologies, including DynamoDB, MongoDB, and MySQL, as well as caching solutions like Redis and Elastic Cache.
• Knowledge of AWS Amplify and AppSync is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes using the AWS Code Family is preferred
