Job Summary

Provide technical expertise on quality assurance and quality control (web, mobile, desktop application)
Working independently, directly communicating with the manager, team, and client.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Perform functional testing, regression testing and keep track of all the new developments.
Making reports and documentation.
Support user acceptance testing for new features, improving the test coverage by including the most relevant end-to-end user scenarios in test plans and automation.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Contribute ideas to fulfill the product & services.

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and working experience.
5+ years of direct QA experience: designing, implementing, executing tests and tracking/reporting results.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to quantify and communicate the quality of a product to Project Manager
Good knowledge of QA methodologies.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and strict attention to details.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with project manager and internal cross- functional teams.
Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology.
Ability to document technical/ business requirements and troubleshoot errors
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Creative in manual testing with fast bug detection through exploratory testing.
Understanding of Agile methodology and experience of working in an Agile environment, Jira, Zephyr and SCRUM.
Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
Able to work independently with “Can-Do” spirit and to manage time effectively.

“Plus” skills:

Able to Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
Basic SQL skills and good experience in automated testing tools.
Basic programming skills in Java for developing test scripts
Experience in revision control systems like: Github, SVN.
Experience in automation test: Selenium, Appium, Jenkin configuration…
Experience in REST/SOAP API using tool like Postman/SOAPUI
Experience in using BDD (Behavior-driven development) Framework
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
