For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for an Automation Engineer to work in Ho Chi Minh City. As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment. Their client is developing a complete solution for trusted collaboration in the cloud. It seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Office 365, Teams and SharePoint. As a Frontend developer, you will involve in the product development using the latest frontend technologies and modern UI/UX guidelines from Microsoft.
The position is based on a Hybrid working model and requires 1 day per week onsite.
Role Overview
An Automation Tester in our Microsoft development environment is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role involves working closely with the developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and implement effective testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Test Automation Development: Design and develop automated test scripts using the Playwright platform, C# and TypeScript.
• Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Execute automated tests and analyze results.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
• Work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure highquality software delivery.
• Reporting: Generate test reports and metrics to track the quality and performance of the software.
• Min. 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in programming language C# and JavaScript
• Experience with test automation tools like Playwright, Selenium
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, particularly Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software development and QA lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and document defects accurately.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Intermediate level of English in speech and writing
