YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Agile Business Analyst is a senior business analyst who can apply sound business analysis methodology combined with industry expertise to execute business analysis tasks on an assigned proiect/business outcome.
- The Agile Business Analyst performs the role of a business analyst on assigned business outcomes, including:
- Assisting with the decomposition of work, scoping business outcomes, epics, and features
- Defining clear, actionable and testable acceptance criteria for functional requirements
- Defining non-functional requirements
- Providing business analysis services as defined in business analysis service catalogue with the aim to enable business change through technology and organisational changes
- The Agile Business Analyst is focused on supporting delivery of business outcomes through methodical, detail-orientated analysis and problem solving. They contribute to risk management and governance by identifying, articulating and documenting risks and dependencies and collaborating with others in their squad to help mitigate them.
- The Agile Business Analyst is proficient at creating high-quality artefacts which document processes, decisions and work in progress - assisting with the creation of internal change collateral, training collateral, process mapping, testing activities and release documentation. They provide ongoing management of documentation to maintain currency of the information, taking guidance and direction from others in their squad to perform edits and updates as required.

Job Requirement
- 5+ years experience completing business analyst activities in any industry
- Experience contributing to high-quality artefacts including business cases, process maps, customer journey maps, functional and non-functional requirements, technical specifications, governance definitions, testing, risk and control flows
- Experienced in preparing teams for technical releases.
- Contributions to regulatory environment management, including compliance, risk, obligations & scheme management
- Previous experience working in a cross-functional, agile environment and contributing to key agile ceremonies/practices
- Business analysis & project delivery — familiarity with industry recognised bodies of knowledge and best practices (e.g. BABOK, PMBOK, Agile)
- Problem solving —ability to respond to issues in a timely and effective manner, propose solutions based on evidence, insight and viability
- Communication and listening — ability to succinctly communicate relevant information and actively solicit and apply feedback; stakeholder management skills
- Process architecture & design — familiarity with process improvement frameworks, methods and techniques (e.g. Six Sigma, ISO 9000, BPMN)
- Data analysis & measurement— Able to collate, filter, analyse, and interpret datasets to produce insights and conclusions
- Planning and alignment — Ability to prioritise activities and meet obligations
- Tools & methodology — Foundational understanding of change management, product management and risk tools, techniques, frameworks and methods
- Foundational knowledge of banking processes, systems and infrastructure
- Preferred - Tertiary qualifications with a degree in business, economics, science or an equivalent profession
