Overview of job
We are looking for an APAC Project Delivery Excellence and Quality Lead. This role will be the designer, maintainer, and go-to-point throughout the Asia-Pacific region for all things delivery operations and quality-related. The successful candidate will be highly visible and key to managing project governance with senior Delivery and Operations team members.
Scope of work as below.
- Continue maturing the existing APAC Delivery Excellence and Quality function for program/project processes, standards, procedures and tools by leveraging and adapting the existing GFT Group level best practices, policies and methodologies to ensure they’re fit-for-purpose for APAC delivery.
- Be hands-on and willing to initially perform tasks themselves to ‘learn-by-doing’ and then define or optimise and automate processes.
- Methods Standardisation: drive consistent and standardised usage of our Project methods across our distributed Delivery hubs in Vietnam, Poland and Spain delivering services to our APAC clients.
- Monitoring and Control of Project Execution Performance: monitor overall compliance to Project Governance
- Health Checks: work with the APAC senior leaders, group functions, and senior delivery managers to build and implement proactive health checks across APAC portfolio.
- Project Governance: Manage and facilitate (both internal as well as client-facing) Steering Committee meetings across APAC portfolio of projects - includes driving and collaborating content creation, scheduling, minute-taking, etc.
- Project manage our Delivery Excellence improvement initiatives.
- Support Delivery Executive Managers with our OKR process across regional Delivery.
- Perform monthly project Operational Risk and Quality KPI analysis and report back to local management with strategic / tactical improvement suggestions.
- Working closely with our Group level Quality organisation as the APAC representative.
- Coordinate internal Delivery management team calls.
- Help support local activities and APAC client initiatives in Vietnam - e.g. logistics with client laptops/devices, client resource onboarding/offboarding, and team building events.

Job Requirement
- 6+ years’ experience working in senior project management, PMO, Project Governance or Project Risk and Quality (e.g. PMO Lead, Senior Quality Analyst, Project / Program Manager, etc.)
- Strong and proven understanding of PPM (Portfolio Project Mgmt), PMO and project governance
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural/international environment.
- Experience working in, or with, Banking / Financial services in the technology domain is highly advantageous
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Have a practical, structural mindset and be a quick learner able to adapt to the changes from a fast-growing organization
- Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality.
- Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
